New Work: Brand, Strategy, Digital Experience and Print Collateral for Wild Bum

Bright Bright Great is excited to share the launch of Wild Bum, the next big adventure for travelers seeking exclusive curated experiences.

Wild Bum Brand Identity

Wild Bum is a modern, online global marketplace that evokes a sense of adventure and well-being! Their mission is to shift the mindset around travel. Travel is not a luxury, rather it is essential to our health and well-being!

The project began as a one woman show with a passion for travel, community and adventure. Spending days, if not weeks, researching what makes for a meaningful travel experience, she began selling her travel guides. She saw how some people get excited about researching for travel, while others get completely overwhelmed.

Now, there is an online marketplace that unites both those who love to research travel and those who do not, creating one big, wild global community!

Custom Typeface Design ATC Showpad

ATC Showpad ATC Arquette Custom Typeface & Licensing

Bright Bright Great and Avondale Type Co. have collaborated to create a unique custom cut of ATC’s highly popular ATC Arquette, creating ATC Showpad, for Showpad.

Showpad is a Netherlands-based marketing and sales technology company.

“This was an important modification to an already excellent typeface to align more closely with corporate brand.” said Jason Schwartz, Managing Director

More importantly than the aesthetic change in various characters, this custom typeface utilized unique licensing which allowed for global usage in an unlimited number of mediums. This was critical as the company continues to grow at an aggressive pace and requires flexibility in licensing.

What Is The Important Facebook Pixel Update

Many of our clients (and probably a lot of you who ended up here organically) received an email from Facebook last week noting an “Important Facebook Pixel Update” coming this month.

The big question we’ve received is “what do I need to do to keep this working?”

Here’s the gist…

“On October 24, Facebook will begin offering businesses a first-party cookie option with the Facebook pixel. This change is in line with updates made by other online platforms, as use of first-party cookies for ads and site analytics is becoming the preferred approach by some browsers.

Businesses have long relied on cookies to serve ads to relevant audiences and understand visits to their sites. Up until now, Facebook has used its pixel — powered by third-party cookies — for website analytics, ad targeting, and ad measurement. This new option will also help advertisers, publishers, and developers continue to get accurate analytics about traffic to their websites.”

Here is Facebook’s Help Center Page regarding the cookie update:

This Facebook page has both the basics about your tracking pixel and steps for set-up, so hopefully this helps.

The quick answer is that if you have Google Tag Manager installed, you are able to make this pixel swap yourselves without contacting anyone else for help. If you have some sort of legacy tracking pixel, you should definitely update since you will be 2 major tracking updates behind in the Facebook ecosystem.

If you are unsure of how to set up Tag Manager and your tracking pixel, or need help confirming you are updated and will be tracking correctly, we are happy to help
